Great people consider success of their day based upon the seeds they sow, not the harvest they reap. This should be the way we should judge not only our days but our life also. Unfortunately most of the people sow very little and expect to reap a lot. Their eyes are only on what they get, may be profits, salary, love etc.
If you are sowing for quick returns in life, then you will generally be unhappy with the outcome and unable to keep sowing and living while waiting. On the other side, if you sow contentiously and abundantly, you can be sure that in due time there will be a harvest. Successful people know this and keep their focus on sowing, knowing that the reaping will ultimately come. This is the law of nature. If you live life with the intention of making other people happy and comfortable , you life will be full of meaning, not empty..
